Seabuckthorn Soothing Salves Review and Giveaway

Remember my series of Dear Best Friend... letters? Can you believe my friend's baby is already almost 3 months old?! I'm really excited they are also using cloth diapers, but I wanted to see how I could help them with a recurring diaper rash. So we decided to bless them with this wonderful package of Seabuckthorn Salves which are dairy, gluten, GMO, and cruelty free. Enjoy the review:

"Not too long ago, I received the SBT Seabuckthorn Soothing Salve Mom & Baby package which contained 4 different salves. The best part about these salves is that they are made of all natural essentials oils and ingredients that soothe, heal, and protect both mom and baby. The salves come in cute little tins. They are quite hard and you really need to dig in to scoop them out. They each have a distinct smell, some more pleasant than others!

The Nursing Nipples Soothing Salve is 100% vegan and is safe for the nursing baby. It only contains 4 ingredients! The Eczema & Dermatitis Soothing Salve helps relieve itching and can be applied as often as needed. The Stretch Marks & Scars Soothing Salve helps you get your pre-pregnancy  tummy back.

Because my baby has had a nasty diaper rash on and off since 2 weeks (she is now 10 weeks) , I was especially eager to try the Diaper Rash Soothing Salve. I loved the list of ingredients:

Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Certified Sustainable Palm Oil, Organic SBT Seabuckthorn Seed Oil, Organic SBT Seabuckthorn Fruit Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Chamomile Oil.

Her skin quickly gets used to one type of cream, so for the last two weeks, I have been alternating between this salve, as well as the Honest Co.'s Healing Balm.  My baby's bum has stayed rash free all this time! Every time I change her diaper, I’m anxious that I’ll find the beginnings of a rash but there has been nothing to worry about. Another big bonus is that I can use this salve with my cloth diapers without ruining them.

The salves are quite pricey at $20 each but it looks like the 4 oz will last quite a while. Also, because the ingredients are so similar in many of the salves, I bet I could use each one for different things and they would still get the job done. Overall, these salves are definitely a great natural alternative to the typical creams and lotions that are on the market these days. And the best part is that they work!"

We hope you enjoyed this review by my friend Dina and her adorable baby. Don't forget to check out SBT: Seabuckthorn whether you're looking for sunburn relief, soothing sensitive skin salve, rosacea, muscle and joint pain, hemorrhoid relief, cough and cold recovery, and much more.

  11. This summer I suffered some serious pain in my hands. They broke out in blisters. My doctor put polysporin on them and wrapped them in gauze but they continued to break out in blisters and continued to be very painful. I talked to Susan one day and she mentioned Seabuckthorn Seed Oil. She asked me to try it just to see. I did and the results were unbelievable. The pain subsided and I slept very well. The scabs came off and my hands healed. Many people commented on how well they looked. I am so pleased. Thanks Susan! Jerry
