As a parent I love seeing other parents equipping their kids to use their imagination to impact the world around us. Kids are so creative! So when I saw Penguino World's Zipping Through the Rainforest Kickstarter project, I really wanted to share with you this entrepreneurial endeavor and dream of a father and daughter.
Zipping Through the Rainforest is a fun and educational book which creates an opportunity for children, alongside their parents, to learn about caring for our planet and its resources. It's perfect in time for Earth Day if you so happen to celebrate it! Check out this little snippet video:

You can support this Kickstarter project and help this family get things off the ground by pledging as little as $1 to support them. You get perks for donating more, for example for $20 or more you will get the personally signed book or for $25 you can get a reusable water bottle with a 'thank you' and a Zipping Through the Rainforest e-book. For $99 you get the signed book, t-shirt, water bottle, and onesie with cap.
Penguino World's book and merchandise pictured below are all made in the USA. Here are some adorable character T-Shirts and onesie that are created with 100% organic fabrics and water or soy based inks. The reusable water bottle is made by Liberty Bottleworks, the only American made metal water bottle from 100% recycled aluminum and BPA free materials.
These environmentally friendly products make a great gift for your own kids or kids you may know. It's a great endeavor to support and you'll be helping to realize this family's project as well as U.S. based jobs in the making of this merchandise. When you support a Kickstarter project, your pledge will only be sent to the project creator if it reaches the pledged goal - in this case $20,000 by May 3rd.
