We clearly have too many toys in the house. Shocking given our policy of actually not buying any. Grandparents sure love their grand children! If only we could convince them to show their love in some other way apart from buying toys! Anyway, if I was to purge everything my kids play with, here are some awesome wooden toys that would be keepers and are not going anywhere any time soon. They are played with almost daily and I highly recommend them, as do Baby E and Baby T!

I have been considering an abacus for my kids! And I totally get the grandparents/present dilemma! I try and keep the toys contained to one toy box, and that seems to be working ok - of course it means we are constantly going through the toys to make room for new things.
ReplyDeleteI need to come up with a system to make room for new things and keep it all contained. Right now honestly it is a mess because one of our bedrooms is being remodeled and we all sleep in one bedroom! All the kids' toys are in bins in several rooms. Can't wait until it's done and we can have some sort of order back!
DeleteWe have 3 of the toys you have in your favorites and i gotta say blocks are the best! About love and grandparents. Well besides christmas and birthdays our kids don't get any toys, im very thankful when parents take kids out to give me a little brake i believe that is another way of showing love =)
ReplyDeleteYes, spending time with the grand kids is the best - both for the kids and for the mom! We all need a little brake :)
