I love finding small, mom-owned children's clothing companies that create high quality pieces that become wardrobe staples. I have recently discovered little MoSo of Canada on Etsy. They were one of the sponsors for the Handmade from the Heart giveaway. Using luxuriously soft bamboo and organic cotton fabrics, little MoSo creates functional and super comfortable pieces for girls, boys, and women.
We received a pair of bamboo/organic cotton leggings with the bamboo bolero wrap that Baby E is wearing in these photos (yes, she was singing, she never stops!). Very timely since she has outgrown most of her hand-me-downs. These two pieces can be worn in so many ways and with virtually anything! The bolero is perfect over a dress for spring or for cool summer nights, with a dance or gymnastics outfit, or to dress up a t-shirt. It's really a year-round staple! This bolero is in size 6 and even though it is big, you can see that the sleeves can easily be cinched up, we are getting a lot of wear out of this item in the coming seasons. I think it is a great buy for $25, it's available in blue (pictured), pink, purple, and yellow.
Baby E has a pair of leggings that she just outgrew, in one year they are falling apart already, even when I bought them I could tell they were not very high quality. The little MoSo ones are leggings with a capital L! You know, there are leggings and then there are little MoSo Leggings. So luxurious, with a no-roll, perfect waist band. I can only wish my leggings were as nice as this. Baby E is 4 and small for her age, so we got size 6 leggings and they have a ton of room for her to grow into, a little loose even. She'll be wearing them for two years at least. They are only $22 a pair or $36 when you buy two, they come in blue, gray (pictured), pink, and purple. When she outgrows these, you bet we're getting another pair, they come in sizes up to 10 years old!
We also received an adorable pair of bamboo girls panties, they are so soft and trimmed with cute lace. I find that stores are filled with really cheaply made kids underwear and it is so hard to find anything without cartoon characters. These are a perfect, natural alternative that's great for little girls. A three-pack for $28 will go a long way.
I highly recommend little MoSo for high quality, Eco friendly children's clothing. The well designed kids clothing has a great fit and the fabrics are nothing short of perfection. I do hope they plan to expand their clothing line for kids and women, I would love to see even more options for myself.
