DeleteBabywearing has always instantly calmed both of my boys. It allowed me to keep DS2 at work with me until he was 14 mos old. I was able to wear DS2 and have my hands free to help DS1.

ReplyDeleteI love love love babywearing! I am on my third child (a surprise - he arrived on September 17, 2012)and love that I have hands free AND baby feels secure and happy being worn. I practiced babywearing with my first two, as well. They were both born with immature hips (my first child had diagnosed hip displaysia and wore a brace for months, as well) and our orthopedic surgeon was the first to introduce me to babywearing, explaining how it promoted healthy hip development! Both girls have very healthy, normal hips, and I do believe babywearing helped. :)

Today I wore my baby and my husband and I got in a kissing war each taking turns kissing her head. It would have been impossible if she was stuck down in a stroller. That is why I love babywearing.

I love babywearing - mostly because my baby loves it. In his stroller, he cries almost constantly. However, when he's in a carrier, he is the happiest little guy in the world. For me, carriers are the way to go.
