We love high quality, German made toys and Haba is the first brand that comes to mind! Almost 4 year old Baby E loves to build with anything she can get her hands on. When we received the Color Fun Pegging Game, she immediately took off creating a ship for her leopard (below). This open-ended, classic toy can provide hours of fun.
Haba recently launched a new website, HabaUSA, where you can explore their huge variety of high-quality, German made toys. I could honestly spend a good hour (or two) there! You'll find everything from baby rattles and puzzles, to ride-on toys and pretend play. I love their pirate and knight costumes, I think they would look fabulous on Baby T when he is a little older! The Built It Sets are awesome for older creative children. Oh, and don't get me started on their whimsical Kids Room Decor goodies!
The Color Fun Pegging Game is great for kids 2 to 6 years old. I love that it doesn't have any tiny parts, so I don't have to hide it from Baby T. He loves playing with it too, and after watching his sister for a few minutes he took the pieces and figured out how to insert the pegs into the holes. It's hard to keep track of the pieces, but thankfully the sturdy box keeps them contained and even when Baby E or Baby T sit on it, it doesn't break.
