Litiquette Soft Sole Baby Shoes Review and Giveaway

Baby T started walking at 10 months, a lot earlier than his big sister. It was the end of August and he was happily toddling around barefoot. Now that fall settled in, I wanted some soft non-slip leather shoes for him since our concrete slab floors get very chilly. Baby E is into dancing everywhere barefoot, and the only way to convince her to wear slippers is if they are pink. I was pretty excited to be contacted by Litiquette to review their soft-sole leather baby shoes! 

Right off the bat, I have to say what impressed me most are the prices. Just $9.99 a pair. That's hard to beat! The second thing that impressed me is the selection. Right now, you can choose from 37 boy styles and 42 girl styles. There are also some that are gender neutral, like the Busy Bee, Jumping Mouse, Peas in a Pod, and Little Bear - to name a few.

We received a pair of Blue Free Run Sneakers for Baby T and the Bow Shoes in Pastel Pink for Baby E. Baby T is almost 1 year old, so I got the 12-18 months size and they will fit him great all through the winter. He wears a size 4.5 in baby shoes. Baby E wears size 7 and the 2-3 years size fits her well. Even though she is almost 4, she has a tiny foot! The important thing to her, of course, is that they are pink and have little bows. They have to look like ballerina slippers you know! This coming from a little girl who I thought was going to be a tomboy when she was 2.

These soft-sole shoes are easy to put on and stay put with an elastic around the ankle. I love that Baby T can't take them of (yet). When he was walking around in socks with rubber grips, he would take them off every one point two minutes. I got so tired of having to put them back on all day. I love that my kids can now run around without slipping and the slippers stay put.

Perhaps the only thing I wasn't crazy about is the new leather smell when I just opened the package. I know nearly all new shoes have that smell, it's something I can deal with and it dissipates quickly. I think the smell is more just from them being packaged up than from the shoes themselves. I would just let them air out outside for a few hours. These well-priced, comfortable, real leather shoes for baby are worth every penny!
