Little Looster Review & Giveaway

A little while after Baby E was finally completely potty trained, I was contacted by Little Looster to review their clever invention. At that time I didn't see the need since Baby E had tiny short legs that couldn't even bend at the knees when she sat on the toilet, we decided to stick with the potty. Now that she is bigger I remembered Little Looster and thought "Hey, that would be the perfect solution to her tiny short legs!". She is now big enough to get onto the toilet, but a regular step stool is too low for her to place her feet on and sit comfortably.

I'll have to say that this thing is a great idea! It fits nicely around a toilet, blends in since it is white, doesn't need to be moved, and makes it so much easier for a toddler to go without needing assistance. When it arrived, my first thought was "Wow this thing is huge!" Yes, it is quite large - but it is extremely sturdy the way it is designed. Since it is wider at the base, there is no tipping if your toddler climbs up on one side. Also, there is plenty of room on top of it for little feet to find their footing so that they do not fall over. When it is placed under the toilet, it doesn't get in the way for adults. I do notice it for sure, but it doesn't make it awkward for me to sit down. We love that this product is made right here in the USA. Best of all of course, is that it takes away my toddler's fear of having to climb up on the toilet and get on the seat without missing it!

The only minor issue we had with the Little Looster is that it would not fit around our toilet in our very small half bath where the vanity is just a few inches from the toilet and the Little Looster is wider at that spot than the room we have available. So if you have a tiny little bathroom where you would like to use this, you would have to check the measurements first to make sure it would fit. In our main bathroom (above) it fits great and she is so comfortable using it. The only problem is that our toilet there is broken, but that's another story!

The Little Looster is priced at $34.99, which is reasonable and actually a great deal considering you are buying an American made product. Worth it? Yes, now you will not have your toddler clinging to the toilet for their life!

  6. We are just starting to potty train our son, he is is pretty large for his age and all of the potties we have found are too small. I think this would help him feel more secure on the big potty.

  14. I think it would be helpful - we have one bathroom stool but it is hard for my 2 year old to move it from the sink, get up on the toilet, then move it back when she's finished. This could stay by the toilet and she could be more independent on the toilet which would be great.
