Babies are cute. Babies in really cute baby clothing are totally adorable. My babies mostly dwell in hand me downs (some compromise on my taste that I learned to live with), so I enjoy getting them something I actually really like for review. I have recently discovered Peekaboo Beans and I absolutely love their unique line of baby and children's clothing. They sent us the Tea for Two coat for my girl and the Echoing Jacket for my boy. One of my favorite things about this brand is the way everything is so easy to mix and match in a particular season, if you check out their current collection for girls for example - you'll notice how the styles are all so different but made with the same fabrics. Oh, and boy clothing? Really hard to find cute boy's clothes, but I'm confident Peekaboo Beans nailed it!
Being the [extra] frugal mom that I am, I got my girl's jacket one size up (she is a tiny three year old, I got one for a four year old). I got the boy's jacket several sizes up because I figured since it is gender neutral, my tiny girl can wear it now and baby T can wear it in about a year and a half, since he is so much bigger and growing at a faster rate than baby E ever did! So my girl is wearing both, the Echoing Jacket for everyday and the Tea for Two coat for special occasions! Great timing since she just outgrew all her coats.
The quality and attention to detail on these pieces is superb! My husband even commented on how well made these are, and he can be hard to please. Everything from the pre-washed, high quality fabrics, to the little chin guard on the coat to protect necks from pinching (I still remember crying when my mom would zip up my jacket and pinch me!). I love how the cuffs are made to look cute rolled over, perfect for getting the most wear out of these pieces. The Echoing Jacket is actually reversible, I love the option of wearing it green or gray with the modern plaid pattern.
If you like these two pieces that baby E is showcasing, you better hurry up because they are on sale right now at a whopping 50% off! The Tea for Two coat retailed for $85 and is currently $42.50 and the Echoing Jacket was $84 and is now $42. I have a few other favorites from their current fall collection sale, would absolutely love the Petal Perfect Hoodie for $24.50 and the Curtsy Skirt for $23 for baby E. Baby T would look adorable in the Team Work Pant for $21. Oh, and when you make a purchase for $50, you receive $10 in Peekaboo Play Money, $20 if you spend $100, etc. It's perfect to spend on the spring collection coming March 1st!
Another thing we certainly appreciate is that Peekaboo Beans fabrics are certified free of harmful substances, dyes, and chemicals by Oeko-Tex Standard 100. So they are safe for your baby! It was evident when the package arrived and there was no 'new clothes smell' (though the catalog was a little smelly).
If you are looking to start your own business and work from home, you've got another reason to check out Peekaboo Beans!
