Have you ever had your infant or toddler wiggle right out from under you as you're trying to put a sweater or hoodie on them? I've discovered a great Eco-friendly company that makes the cutest sweater and pants sets to address that exact problem. The Little Bambino sweaters zip up in the back and make it really convenient to finish dressing your active baby as they are running away! The head doesn't get stuck in it as you're putting it on, the zipper won't 'bite' them, and a toddler can't take it off when they shouldn't. Now why didn't I think of that?
We received a Bambino Zip with Comfy Pants in the gray with the Black Panther (pictured above). Our little bundle coming this November will be wearing it. You'll definitely see more pics on the blog in this cute ensemble come spring! The material is one of my favorite things about it, aside from the genius design. It is made of 70% bamboo and 30% certified organic cotton. So incredibly soft! Water based inks and low-impact dyes are used for the silk screen images. The zipper is nickel-free.
The sizing is awesome and really takes into account the growth of the baby. The 6 month size hoodie we received could almost fit my skinny two and a half year old (she still wears some 18 month size clothing). But it is a very slim fit and wouldn't look big or baggy on a 6 month old. Each size essentially fits comfortably for one and a half years! I love kids clothing that I can get a lot of use out of. The worst is when you buy something and they grow out of it in half a year. There are four styles available, here is another cute one...
