Moms always ask me what is the most affordable modern cloth diaper. Until now I had a few options to tell them about at the $10 each range, but these... these are $5 or less! How is that for budget diapering? No, they aren't made in the U.S. But they are one-size and many moms love them (ask the moms who started a Facebook page just for them). We received one Sunbaby diaper to try out.
Materials: These are the popular PUL and microfiber material, just like most pocket diapers on the market. There is a convenient fold over line of PUL at the tummy to prevent leaks, the insert opening folds over as well to keep the wet insert away from baby's skin.
Sizing: Above, you can see the smallest setting that fits from about 7-8 lbs. Below you can see how the snaps are laid out and the inside of the diaper. It fits a pretty wide range, but may be a little big on a newborn since the tabs do not cross over (my newborn that is, my first was under 7 pounds). 
Value: Have a really tight budget for diapering? Forget disposables that will cost you at least $600 each year. You can get a 24 pack of Sunbaby diapers for $108, that's $4.50 each!!! We're talking major savings here. A 12 pack is $60, so $5.00 each. Yes, your diapers will be coming from China. It may be what you need to keep almost 3,000 disposables out of the landfill each year. Personally, if your wallet is running low I would recommend getting a stash of mostly Sunbaby diapers but splurging on a few other diapers (lots of great U.S. made choices from what we've reviewed) for night time and outings. About: Sunbaby diapers was started by a Chinese wife and mom. They manufacture the diapers themselves and pass on great savings to us. These are produced under fair labor and wages, they are tested to be lead free, and workers don't work overtime.
