Our next review isn't for the fluffiest of diapers, i.e. they are not reusable cloth diapers. But you're going to love this as the most Eco-friendly and baby safe disposable option.
Bambo Nature diapers are perfect for the first days/weeks after birth when you want to deal with minimal laundry, great for road trips and vacations, or if you aren't quite ready for cloth diapering but still want a diaper that will be healthy for the baby's skin.
Materials: Unlike the average disposable, Bambo Nature diapers are made with wood pulp from sustainable forestry and there is no chlorine used in the bleaching process. It is also free of substances harmful to health (phthalates, formaldehyde, organotins, heavy metals, colophonium, AZO pigments, PVC, or
any chemical/compound that is known to be locally irritating or sensitizing). Learn more about
Bambo Nature ingredients.
Sizing: Bambo Nature diapers are sized just like other disposables with sizes ranging from preemie to XL training pants. We received the preemie and newborn size diapers that we plan on using the first few days at the birth center and at home.
Value: If you are looking to diaper a baby (or two) for two+ years for under $500, cloth diapers are your only option. There is simply no disposable that can fit that bill. With Bamboo Nature, for example - an infant uses an average of 8 diapers a day the first year of life (more for a newborn of course, less toward the one year mark). Each diaper is between $0.35 and $0.40 each. So 8 diapers x 365 days = 2, 920 diapers. Multiply that by an average of $0.375 cents = $1, 095 per year. Clearly cloth diapers have an advantage. But if you're looking for the best of the best disposable options, Bambo Nature is awesome!
About: Bambo Nature diapers are made by KCK Industries, a cosmetic and healthcare company that strives to make the highest quality products that take the environment into account. Read more about
