Traveling with cloth diapers?!

Cloth diapering is not an easy feat if you've never done it. So I imagine for moms who aren't familiar with it - cloth diapering while traveling must sound pretty heroic and outrageous! Well, guess what - we've finally tried it and it isn't a scary monster with ten legs. It takes a little extra planning and depending on the type of vacation you are taking it is completely manageable. It worked perfectly for our short road trip and one week at a vacation rental without a washer and dryer.

  1. Haha! Yes, handwashing can be fun while on a trip! I did this for a few trips within a three week period, and while I had a meltdown at the very end, it's definitely doable over a short period of time. :) Kudos to you for having a successful trip!

  3. We travel to my parents house often and these tips will be quite helpful (although I do have a washer and dryer readily available there). I particularly liked the tip of having hubby help w/ his strong hands. Nothing like appealing to the ego lol.

  5. I feel like these tips might benefit me in general, as I don't have a washer and dryer, so I'll be making quite a weekly (or more) trip to the laundromat.
