Take Action to Get Genetically Engineered Foods Labeled!
It is ironic that 53% of Americans say they would never buy genetically modified food in a CBS News/New York Times consumer opinion study in May 2008. Most of them do not realize that they already buy it and GM ingredients are nearly in every packaged food at the supermarket. Unless you're buying everything organic, chances are you consume GM ingredients. Why is that a big deal? Because in tests on hamsters, genetically modified food caused long-term sterility, five fold infant mortality rate, and low birth weight babies. That's why!
