Having a daughter is so much fun when it comes to clothing! Even with all the hand me downs she has, there are so many combinations for cute outfits. We were excited to discover Francoise Studio, the French boutique for children who love fashion. Francoise was very kind to share her creations with us and sent us the Spring Bouquet dress for review. We ended up wearing it to a wedding last week and it was an instant hit with our little girl!
Quality & Value: If you're looking for high quality children's clothing, Francoise Studio is a great choice. The pieces are what I would call heirloom quality, something that can be passed on from generation to generation. Unfortunately that can't be said for most clothing you buy at stores these days. Our dress is very well sewn, the workmanship is outstanding! This will definitely be worn by little sisters and/or nieces. Though most pieces are priced higher than I can afford, the prices are reasonable for special occasion outfits - especially for the quality you're getting. Of course handmade creations are of much higher value than mass produced clothing. There is a sample sale section on her website where you can always get great deals!
There is also the option of hosting a home party/trunk show where you can earn 10% of the party's total sales and use it to purchase something yourself. You get to share the latest Francoise Studio collections with your friends at your own home. Customers can create their own one-of-a-kind designs and get special pricing on some selected merchandise.
How is this green: Unlike large companies, this one-of-a-kind clothing is made to order, so there is very minimal waste. You are supporting the owner and her family directly! Everything is made locally here in the US of A in California!
Fit & Design: The Spring Bouquet dress is designed perfectly for growing little girls. Our daughter is 17 months old, we got the 18 month size for the dress. Because she is so small and below average for weight, the dress is quite big on her. But can you even tell in the photos? Doesn't it look great? That's because the straps tie to whatever size you want and the sash on the waist holds any extra fabric. This means that she'll even be able to wear it next year! This fall it will look great with some tights, a shirt underneath, and mary janes. I can't say enough about the design, my words simply will not do it justice! It's very adjustable, the skirt and ruffles flow beautifully, and the combination of fabrics is quite stunning!
Company: Francoise is such a creative person! There are always new styles in her store, new fabrics, and new inspirations. As a one-woman company, she does an amazing job both with the design of unique clothing and unbeatable service!
