Small Eco-Changes

I often get comments from other parents. Even those that have never been parents before.

"But you can't protect your children from all the bad things."

"You are way over protective, isn't there something toxic in everything then?"

Yes, and yes. But let me ask you, if there is something that you do have control over to make your child's life healthier, why wouldn't you take advantage of it? No, we can't protect them from every toxic substance. But why choose something toxic when you have other options? Especially living in the United States. If you say it is expensive, I'll say that your child's health is much more valuable. Trust me, you'll be amazed at how expensive doctor's visits can be for asthma, cancer, and poisoning... Not to mention the value of a child's life.

There are parents who learned this the hard way, loosing their child to cancer caused by the mother's pesticide exposure. The founders of Healthy Child Healthy World lost their precious little girl, Colette, and are now on a quest to educate parents and to protect little children from harmful chemicals.
