My almost 9 month old daughter is in her 'everything looks better on the ground' stage. I also call it the 'look how much fun it is to watch mommy pick things up' syndrome. This is one of the many workouts she gives me everyday. This is where the Clingy Cord from CaitiMac Creations comes in handy. It can pretty much be used to attach anything to anything when it comes to baby things.
The Clingy Cord comes in eighteen fun prints and costs $13. It easily attaches toys, sippy cups, and other baby gadgets to your stroller, high chair, and gear. I got to try out the Ooh La Pink Dot. Let's just say that Munchkin was a lot more fascinated by the Clingy Cord than her sippy cup!
I found the Clingy Cord most useful with a stroller when taking walks outside, now I can 'trust' her with the sippy cup and let her hold it. Previously I would let her drink and take it away from her because otherwise it would end up on the ground. It is also great for attaching favorite toys to whatever you please. It works well with toys that don't originally have anything to attach it with. You can take a stuffed bear for example and put the loop around his neck, hanging him on the stroller for a ride along with you. Don't worry, you are likely to be the one who thinks it is weird - not the baby.
The coolest thing is that it is not made by a huge baby supply corporation, but by a SAHM (Stay-at-Home-Mom). She has three kids, so buying CaitiMac products directly supports their family. In addition to the Clingy Cord you will also find other products on her website like nursing covers, a SmartZip sleeper, burp cloths, shopping cart covers, etc.
